Jewelry Care

Our jewelry is crafted by hand from sterling silver (unless otherwise noted) and often treated with a black patina.

To keep your jewelry looking beautiful:

• Do not polish patinated pieces — polishing removes the patina

• Avoid water, lotion, perfume, and sweat

• Remove jewelry before sleeping, showering, or exercising

• If patina wears due to rubbing, we can re-apply it for you

Mindful wear extends the life of your piece.

Sustainability

Yes — sustainability is a core value at Figs & Ginger.

We prioritize:

• Recycling and reusing studio materials

• Using local printers with soy-based inks and hydroelectric power

• Printing on 50%–100% post-consumer recycled paper

• Minimizing waste at every stage of production

You can learn more on our Green Values page.

How is your jewelry made?

Each piece is created using traditional metalsmithing techniques such as forging, sawing, soldering, and casting.

• Handmade in our Providence, Rhode Island studio

• Chains are not handmade
