Mark your calendars! On Saturday, September 14th, Figs & Ginger will be hosting a special Open Studio event as part of DesignxRI’s Design Week—and you’re invited!
What to Expect
Whether you’re a fan of handcrafted jewelry, a lover of art and design, or simply curious about the magic that goes into creating unique metalwork, this event is the perfect opportunity to step into my creative world that I've been building for 19 years.
Here’s what you can look forward to:
• Studio Tour: Take a peek inside the Figs & Ginger studio, check out some works in progress, my lapidary set-up and some of the fun things I've collected.
• Live Demos: Watch as I demonstrate some techniques I use!
• Q&A Session: Got questions about metalsmithing or starting your own creative business? Feel free to come and ask!
• Shop Local: Be the first to shop from my latest collections, including the limited-edition pieces I’ve created specifically for Design Week! You can browse, try on, and even purchase your favorites right here in the studio.
• Meet Fellow Creatives: DesignxRI’s Design Week brings together a vibrant community of artists, designers, and creators. Come network, chat, and share in the creative energy!
Event Details:
• When: Saturday, September 14th, from 10 AM to 2 PM
• Where: Figs & Ginger Studio, 25 Manton Ave Providence, RI 02909. Sometimes this takes you to a river, just take a right at the end of that street onto Manton Ave, and I am the first Right into the Cathedral Arts Building.
• Part of: DesignxRI Design Week. Learn more at DesignxRI.
This event is free and open to the public, so feel free to bring a friend (or two!). Whether you’re a longtime fan of Figs & Ginger or someone new to the world of handmade jewelry, I’d love to meet you and share the joy of crafting with you.
Hope to see you there!
